Why I am running

San Francisco's public schools continue to be at a crossroads. The erosion of family trust in public education is real. I am running because I believe the answer is not to abandon public schools or to treat them like a market problem to be optimized. The answer is to govern them with the same daily commitment that every good teacher brings to their classroom: showing up, doing the work, and keeping the focus on every child's full potential.

Our school district has an opportunity to be great, but it will take work.  Sound governance and real accountability will make those opportunities a reality for families, educators, and children. That is the work. And I am ready to do it.

Support our families, respect our educators, meet every child’s needs.

The Whole Child Agenda

Reaching every child’s full potential.

For Families. For Educators. For Children.
